Salary Range: ₦500,000 – ₦700,000 (Monthly)
Experience Required: 5 – 8 years
Job Summary:
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding a portfolio of high-value clients within the financial services sector. The role requires strong business development capability, excellent client relationship management skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth while ensuring exceptional customer experience and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to grow revenue
- Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Conduct regular client engagements, presentations, and business reviews
- Provide tailored financial solutions based on client needs and objectives
- Collaborate with internal departments (credit, risk, operations, and product teams) to deliver seamless service
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Prepare periodic reports on portfolio performance and business growth
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Resolve client complaints and ensure timely service delivery
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 5–8 years' proven experience in relationship management, sales, or business development in the financial services sector (banking, fintech, asset management, or insurance preferred)
- Strong understanding of financial products and services
- Proven track record of achieving revenue and sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
