Job Summary
To lead and oversee EHS planning, performance, and risk governance, ensuring seamless integration into business strategy, operations, compliance, and investment decisions to drive safe, sustainable, and value-focused outcomes
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline (master’s degree preferred).
Required Professional Certifications / Accreditations / Registrations
- NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor certification.
Minimum Years of Experience and Relevant Areas
- Minimum of 14- 16 years’ experience in EHS within the oil and gas industry, with strong exposure to upstream (E&P) operations.
Proven experience in:
- EHS planning and performance management frameworks
- Risk assessment methodologies and process safety management systems
- Implementation and management of Integrated Management Systems (ISO standards)
- Application of process safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., OSHA, API, ISO)
- Regulatory compliance management and stakeholder engagement
- EHS data analytics, reporting, and performance monitoring systems
- Advanced qualification in EHS management (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ISO14001/45001 Lead Auditor, etc) is highly desirable
