- Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced GM to lead the company’s Corporate Finance function by developing innovative financing and capital-raising solutions, providing strategic investment advisory, strengthening financial reputation and credit standing with key financial partners, and working closely with the Executive Chairman to achieve the company’s financial objectives.
- - Design and implement corporate finance strategies with the Executive Chairman to ensure sustainable access to cost-effective capital for short-, medium-, and long-term plans.
- Lead the company’s treasury and capital-raising activities, including negotiations with banks, financial institutions, and capital market participants.
- Develop and execute a diversified mix of funding and financing instruments, providing well-researched recommendations to the Board and management.
- Build and maintain strong local and international financial networks, ensuring responsive, trusted, and value-driven financial partnerships.
- Drive credit rating initiatives through rigorous financial housekeeping and engagement with reputable rating agencies to enhance financial credibility.
- Formulate and manage data-driven investment strategies, dividend payout structures, and initiatives that strengthen shareholder value and brand equity.
- Collaborate closely with Business Operations and executive leadership to enhance organizational agility and provide strategic financial leadership across the company.
- Requirements
- * First degree in Finance or Management-related fields
- * Masters degree in a related field (preferably from a foreign university).
- * CFA certification is an added advantage
- * Experience based on a diversity of backgrounds covering banking and a multiplicity of other industries while being engaged in the finance function.
- * Strong strategic, analytical, forecasting, and data analytics capabilities with the ability to translate insights into actionable decisions.
- * Proven leadership and managerial competence, capable of driving teams and aligning stakeholders to strategic objectives.
