Responsibilities
Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries specific to the manufacturing process.
Perform cost accounting activities such as inventory valuation, variance analysis, and overhead allocation.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports detailing the manufacturing department's performance and profitability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze production costs and identify areas for cost optimization.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to manufacturing operations.
Znsure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial statements.
Requirements
HND/BSc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3 - 5 years of experience as an accountant
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration across departments.
Salary
NGN 150,000 - 200,000
