- Cost Tracking & Variance Analysis: Monitor actual expenses against projected budgets, investigating any discrepancies to identify underlying causes.
- Financial Modeling: Develop pricing structures and cost models for new or existing services, products, and operational processes.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist in yearly budget preparation and forecast future financial performance based on historical data and market trends.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in operations (e.g., labor costs, material usage, overheads) and recommend actionable, cost-saving strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, procurement, and technical teams to ensure accurate data collection and adherence to financial controls.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative or engineering discipline.
- Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, supply chain, or financial analysis.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in data analysis, spreadsheet modeling, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Certifications: Professional credentials such as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) will be an added advantage.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
