Job Description
We are seeking a technically proficient Data Engineer to join our Personal & Private Banking division at our Walter Carrington Crescent office. This is a hands-on role where you will design, build, and maintain high-impact data acquisition, warehousing, and reporting solutions. You will be responsible for interpreting complex business requirements and translating them into robust, scalable technical architectures. If you are a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in an agile environment and is passionate about turning raw data into actionable insights using MS SQL 2019, we invite you to help us drive our data strategy forward.

Requirements
- Solution Engineering: Design and construct data solutions that meet stakeholder needs, from defining build tasks and writing clean code to executing comprehensive testing and deployment.
- Data Acquisition & Quality: Build efficient mechanisms to acquire data from diverse sources while implementing strict controls to ensure high data quality standards.
- Agile Delivery: Apply Lean and MVP methodologies to ensure continuous, iterative delivery that provides prompt value to the business.
- System Maintenance: Provide third-tier technical support for production systems and construct enhancements to ensure long-term reliability.
- Best Practices: Utilize MS SQL 2019 effectively, apply continuous integration (CI) to prevent defects, and ensure all solutions align with our overarching technology strategy and coding standards.
- Education: B.Sc. in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred Certification: Azure Data Fundamentals (or equivalent) is considered an added advantage.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in building databases, data warehouses, and reporting solutions.
- Solid experience building and managing data integration (ETL) processes.
- Experience working within an Agile development team.
