Human Services Aide

Full Time 35 hours per week - Contractual Minimum Salary $41,130.18

This position will assist the Human Services Specialists in the performance of specific duties which includes determination of eligibility for financial assistance in accord with rules and regulations promulgated by the New Jersey Department of Human Services. Duties include interviewing applicants and making telephone and written inquiries to establish needed background information, maintain records of facts on individual cases, assist Human Services Specialists and Family Service Workers where necessary in their work, determining basic eligibility and extent of financial need and in clarification and verification of data obtained from clients and other pertinent sources; does other related duties as well.

Hunterdon County offers excellent health and dental benefits, paid leave, paid holidays, and participation in the New Jersey State Retirement Systems.
