Requirements
- Infrastructure Planning & Maintenance: Oversee the design, installation, and preventative maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical infrastructure.
- Technical Oversight: Provide engineering expertise for the Works and Physical Planning department, ensuring all mechanical installations meet safety and efficiency standards.
- Project Supervision: Supervise mechanical projects and contractors, ensuring that all work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant national building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of equipment, maintenance logs, and technical reports for institutional auditing and planning purposes.
Qualifications And Skills
- Education: Good honours degree (HND or B.Sc.) with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- NYSC: Must possess a valid NYSC Discharge, Exemption, or Exclusion Certificate.
- Professional Certification: Must be a registered/certified member of a relevant professional body (e.g., COREN) with a valid practicing license.
- Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy is compulsory. Please note that the interview process will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Added Advantage: Possession of a higher degree (Master’s or equivalent) will be considered an asset.
