Job Description
- The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and supervision of structural works across construction projects.
- The role ensures compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, safety requirements, and quality expectations while providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Provide technical support during project planning, bidding, and execution.
- Supervise structural works on-site and ensure adherence to approved designs.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve structural and construction-related issues.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Review material specifications and construction methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- COREN registration is required.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in structural design and construction supervision.
- Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, AutoCAD, and related engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundation design.
