Job Description
- The iOS Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver user-centered solutions.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, writing clean and testable code, and ensuring applications follow best practices and platform guidelines.
- The role also involves participating in code reviews, integrating APIs and services, and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of the mobile development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong proficiency in iOS Development and iOS frameworks
- Experience in Mobile Application Development and building Mobile Applications end-to-end
- Background in Software Development, including object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Hands-on experience with Swift (and/or Objective-C), Xcode, and common iOS libraries and tools
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles for mobile interfaces and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Ability to debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, security, and reliability
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively on-site in Lagos
- Banking or Fintech experience is a plus.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month
