Role Description The Online Piano Teacher at Educify Inc. is a full-time, on-site role based in Jos. The teacher will deliver structured online piano lessons to learners of varying ages and skill levels, using Educify’s digital platforms and virtual classrooms. Daily responsibilities include planning and organizing lesson materials, demonstrating proper technique, providing constructive feedback, and monitoring learner progress. The role involves adapting teaching methods to different learning styles, maintaining clear and professional communication with learners and guardians, and contributing to the continuous improvement of course content. The teacher will also collaborate with other educators and the wider team to support a strong, engaging learning community.

Qualifications

• Strong Teaching and Training skills, with experience delivering music or piano instruction in individual or group settings.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices, including designing structured curricula, setting learning objectives, and assessing progress.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain musical concepts clearly and provide supportive, actionable feedback.
• Solid piano performance skills and knowledge of music theory, technique, and repertoire appropriate for different levels.
• Comfort using online teaching tools, learning management systems, and virtual classroom platforms.
• Ability to create an inclusive, encouraging, and learner-centered classroom environment.
• Relevant certification or degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience teaching piano, especially in an online or blended learning setting, is an advantage.
