Job Description
Purpose:
The Analyst will be part of the Visa Consulting & Analytics team which delivers high impact consulting, analytics, and data science projects to our clients across GCC. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing practice to contribute to the delivery of consulting projects, develop detailed analyses, derive relevant insights, and shape clients’ strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in consulting and analytics engagements covering a range of activities in the project, including:
- Collecting required data and conducting research
- Conducting data analyses using internal and external data sources
- Conducting benchmarking and market research
- Developing insights from the data analyses to support the recommendations development process
- Developing project deliverables including slides, excel models, etc.
- Supporting the project team members in developing hypotheses, contribute to conclusions and assist other senior team members in presenting to the client
- Providing client project implementation support
- Helping develop and deliver client training programs and imparting best practices knowledge sharing to Visa clients
- Support VCA business development initiatives by assisting in the development of client proposals and white papers
- Participate in market-wide Visa initiatives and projects beyond VCA
- Support knowledge sharing with consulting teams in other regions to contribute to VCA’s growth globally
- Carry out other ad hoc support, support other functions and teams within Visa, and work on internal projects
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- A recognized undergraduate degree
Experience/ skills required: - 2-3 years of experience in consulting/ financial services/ payments industry
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- An ability to collect and utilize business and industry trend information and to analyze this information effectively by applying numerical and strategic analysis techniques
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comprehensive reporting and presentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to develop effective client presentations
- Arabic speaker preferred
- Travel required mainly to Kuwait (however not exclusively)
- Position based in Doha, Qatar
