Role Summary
VeriPass is hiring Cold Callers/Appointment Setters to contact potential leads, introduce them to VeriPass, qualify their interest, and get them to book a free 30-minute Discovery Call with our immigration experts.
This is a target-driven role. Your main responsibility is to speak with prospects, create interest, send the booking link, and ensure qualified leads book appointments for the sales closers.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to assigned leads daily.
Introduce VeriPass and explain the purpose of the free 30-minute Discovery Call.
Qualify prospects based on their immigration interest, goals, timeline, and readiness.
Encourage qualified prospects to book a Discovery Call.
Send booking links via WhatsApp, SMS, or email.
Follow up with prospects who received the link but have not booked.
Confirm that prospects successfully book their appointments.
Update all call outcomes, notes, and appointment status in the CRM.
Escalate hot or urgent leads to Customer Support or the Sales Team.
Maintain a professional, polite, and persuasive tone on all calls.
Meet daily appointment booking targets.
Compensation
Base Salary: ₦300,000 monthly
Additional incentives may be considered based on performance, appointment quality, and closed deals.
Daily Target
The expectation for this role is:
Minimum of 10 booked appointments per day
These appointments must be valid, properly qualified, and booked for the free 30-minute Discovery Call.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, persuasive, disciplined, and comfortable speaking with many prospects daily.
You should be able to handle rejection, follow a script, think quickly, and guide interested prospects toward booking a call without sounding aggressive.
Requirements
Previous experience in cold calling, telemarketing, appointment setting, sales, customer support, or call center roles.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Excellent phone etiquette.
Ability to persuade and influence prospects professionally.
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
Ability to follow scripts while still sounding natural.
Good objection-handling skills.
Comfortable using CRM tools, spreadsheets, WhatsApp, email, and call tracking systems.
Strong follow-up discipline.
Ability to work with daily and weekly targets.
Excellent spoken English.
Knowledge of immigration, travel, education, consulting, or professional services is an advantage but not compulsory.
Key Performance Indicators
Performance will be measured by:
Number of outbound calls made daily.
Number of prospects reached.
Number of qualified prospects identified.
Number of booking links sent.
Number of Discovery Calls booked.
Appointment show-up rate.
Quality of booked appointments.
Accuracy of CRM updates.
Follow-up consistency.
Ability to meet or exceed the target of 10 booked appointments per day.
Important Role Clarification
Cold Callers are not expected to close clients into the full VeriPass package.
Your role is to:
Contact leads → qualify interest → create urgency → send booking link → get the prospect to book a free 30-minute Discovery Call.
The Sales Closers will handle the full package presentation and payment conversion.
What Success Looks Like
A successful Cold Caller at VeriPass will:
Consistently book at least 10 qualified appointments per day.
Keep accurate records of every call.
Follow up quickly with interested prospects.
Help prospects understand the value of the free Discovery Call.
Maintain a professional and trustworthy tone.
Pass high-quality booked appointments to the sales team.
Support the company’s lead-to-client conversion process.
