Generated Content Reviewer

Olive Tree Consulting Group

Remote
The Generated Content Reviewer at Olive Tree Consulting ensures that the outputs from our technical systems are accurate, clear, and useful for our clients. In this part-time, fully remote contract position, you will act as a bridge between raw automated data and finished advice. Your task is to turn rough digital drafts into practical documents that actual leaders can use to run their teams better.

About the role
This position exists because we believe that while automated systems can help generate drafts and organize data, they often lack the clarity and human touch required for professional advisory work. As a Generated Content Reviewer, you will be the final check on whether a piece of writing is actually helpful or just a collection of professional-sounding words. Your work ensures that our client materials stay grounded in reality and remain free of the filler that often complicates corporate communications. This is a fully remote role that requires a high degree of focus and an eye for the small details that others might overlook.

What you will do
  • Reviewing text generated by automated systems for accuracy against original interview notes and data.
  • Identifying and removing repetitive or unnecessary phrasing from initial drafts.
  • Checking that the tone of the content matches our plain-spoken house style.
  • Verifying facts, names, and internal consistency across different documents.
  • Formatting text into lists and sections to make it readable for busy managers.
  • Spotting logical gaps where an automated system might have missed a specific nuance.
  • Comparing different versions of a document to ensure the most useful information is retained.
  • Updating small datasets to ensure that the written reports match the current project status.

What we are looking for
  • A strong grasp of written English and the ability to spot awkward or unclear phrasing.
  • A habit of questioning information rather than taking it at face value.
  • The ability to work independently while managing your own part-time schedule.
  • Consistency in meeting deadlines and responding to requests for minor revisions.
  • A preference for simple explanations over complex jargon or fluff.
  • High comfort level using web-based tools, document editors, and spreadsheets.
  • An organized approach to handling multiple small tasks throughout the week.

Helpful background
  • Experience with academic or professional proofreading and editing.
  • Exposure to modern AI tools or large language model interfaces is useful but not required.
  • An education in liberal arts, communications, or business.
  • Previous experience working in a remote setting or managing projects digitally.
  • A basic understanding of how business meetings and decisions are typically structured.

What we offer
  • A fully remote work environment that respects your time and boundaries.
  • A quiet, focused atmosphere where work quality is valued over constant meetings.
  • Competitive pay for the role and the current market.
  • Practical experience in a growing sector of the advisory and technology space.
  • Flexible part-time hours that can fit alongside other personal or academic commitments.

About Olive Tree Consulting
Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems; they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company's growth.
We favor practical changes over large-scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.
The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
