The role is not designed to keep you constantly busy or interfere with your classes and personal life. You will not be expected to attend daily meetings, remain online all day or continuously message students. Most of the work can be completed at your own pace, and we mainly care about results, good communication and genuine effort rather than strict working hours.

During tests and examination periods, ambassadors will receive generous study and examination leave. Promotional activities can be reduced or temporarily paused so you can focus properly on your academics.

Role Description

As the Veritas Social Campus Ambassador for Babcock University, you are the face of our platform. This flexible role is designed to fit seamlessly alongside your studies and is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, communicating with peers, and staying involved in campus activities. Your mission is to drive user growth through authentic promotion and community management, including seeding meaningful conversations, launching polls, and facilitating discussions that resonate with the student body to ensure the platform remains the go-to space for connection.

Responsibilities

• Introduce Veritas Social to students within Babcock University.
• Encourage students to download the app, create accounts and explore its features.
• Promote the platform through student groups, communities and personal networks.
• Proactively seed meaningful conversations, polls and facilitate discussions on the app that resonate with Babcock students.
• Help organise small campus awareness activities when required.
• Share Veritas Social updates and promotional content on suitable social media platforms.
• Collect honest feedback from students and report common questions or problems.
• Represent Veritas Social in a friendly, respectful and professional manner.
• Provide simple progress updates on promotional activities and student registrations.

Requirements

• Be a current student of Babcock University.

Preferably be in 200 or 300 level. Students in 400 level may also apply.

• Have an academic standing equivalent to at least Second Class Lower Division.
• Be friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with other students.
• Have a good understanding of social media and online student communities.
• Be active within the university or have a reasonable network of students.
• Be reliable and able to complete agreed promotional activities.
• Have access to a smartphone and the internet.
• Be willing to learn about Veritas Social and explain the platform clearly to others.
