SwayOps is a restaurant profitability platform that helps restaurant operators identify and stop profit leaks. The platform provides real-time visibility into food cost, stock movement, waste, and operational performance so owners can make faster, better decisions. Operators can monitor daily profitability, track inventory variances, and understand exactly where money is leaving the business. SwayOps serves both independent restaurants and multi-location restaurant groups.

You should be able to explain what SwayOps does, who it is for, what the PLT measures, and what a restaurant owner sees on their dashboard before your first conversation with us.

After confirmation, you will be trained on the SwayOps Sales Operating System (SOS) - the internal platform used to manage your pipeline, log every client interaction, and track your commissions. SOS access and training are available to confirmed hires only.


3.     About the Role

This is a full-cycle field sales role. You own an account from the first cold contact through to paying customer, and you remain accountable for that customer's performance for 90 days after they convert. You prospect, you run the demo, you close into a 30-day free trial, you drive activation during the trial, and you own the conversion to a paid plan at the end of it.

You work in the field - at restaurants, markets, and client locations across your territory - every working day. This is a field-first role. Most of your time will be spent with restaurant owners in your territory rather than in an office. Your pipeline, your accounts, your results.


4.     What You Are Responsible For

Prospecting and Pipeline:

  • Identify and approach restaurant owners who are losing money on food cost, stock variances, and untracked waste
  • Use the SwayOps Profit Leak Test (PLT) as your primary lead tool. The PLT is a free diagnostic that gives any owner a clear estimate of their monthly profit loss. It is your entry point to every conversation
  • Maintain a clean, active pipeline in the SwayOps Sales Operating System (SOS). Every call, visit, and follow-up is logged with GPS verification. Leads with no activity within 72 hours are flagged automatically

Territory Management

  • Plan and execute weekly territory coverage activities.
  • Prioritize restaurant clusters with the highest conversion potential.
  • Maintain efficient field routes and visit schedules.
  • Provide weekly market intelligence on competitor activity, restaurant trends, customer objections, and opportunities.
  • Ensure assigned territories receive consistent coverage and follow-up.

The Demo:

  • Run a structured 10 to 12-minute product demonstration anchored to the prospect's own PLT result
  • The demo covers: Leak Intelligence score, real vs. target food cost, waste cost in Naira, the daily dashboard, and the monthly P and L
  • You close by offering the 30-day free trial and beginning account setup on the owner's device in the same visit. The trial requires no credit card

Onboarding and Activation (30-Day Trial Period):

  • After the close, you complete the initial setup wizard on the owner's device. This covers business profile, food targets, location, and stock initialization
  • You are responsible for driving the owner to consistent daily use during the trial through structured check-ins at key intervals across the 30 days
  • At Day 30, you conduct an ROI review with the owner using their actual data from the platform. This is the conversion conversation. The owner moves to a paid plan or they do not

Post-Conversion (90-Day Retention Accountability):

  • Every account you convert stays on your record for 90 days across three monthly checkpoints
  • You are accountable for whether those accounts remain active and paying
  • Churn within 90 days is tracked against your name. Commission clawback applies where churn is linked to misrepresentation or setup that was abandoned after the close


5.     Compensation & Commission

  • Base Salary: ₦80,000 – ₦130,000 per month (depending on experience)
  • Recurring Commission: 10% of active paying subscription revenue from customer accounts personally acquired by you
  • Commission begins after a customer converts from the free trial to a paid subscription
  • No commission cap
  • Retained accounts create recurring monthly commission income

6.     What We Are Looking For

  • Proven B2B field sales track record. You are comfortable walking into a working restaurant and having a financial conversation with an owner
  • You can run a structured demo with accuracy. This product involves food cost percentages, Naira profit figures, and ROI calculations. You must be comfortable with numbers in front of a client
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain business concepts clearly to restaurant owners
  • Self-managed. You work in the field without daily supervision. Your results, your discipline, your accountability
  • Process-driven. The SwayOps sales workflow is structured and non-negotiable. GPS-verified logging, a fixed demo sequence, mandatory touchpoints. Reps who skip steps produce bad outcomes
  • Consistent. Not great one week, absent the next. Consistent daily prospecting, consistent pipeline hygiene, consistent client follow-through.
  • Coachable. There is a right way to run this process. We value people who learn quickly, take feedback seriously, and continuously improve their performance.
  • Honest in your reporting. Activity that is not logged accurately is not counted. There is no room for inflated pipeline numbers or invented visit records.
  • Smartphone fluency. The entire workflow runs on web and mobile, including as an app installed directly on your phone.


7.     What Success Looks Like In This Role

Within Your First 30 Days

  • You understand the SwayOps platform well enough to conduct demos independently.
  • You consistently maintain an active pipeline within SOS.
  • You accurately log all visits, calls, and follow-ups.
  • You demonstrate disciplined territory coverage and prospecting activity.

Within Your First 60 Days

  • You are consistently converting qualified restaurant owners into active paying subscribers.
  • Customer accounts acquired by you are progressing successfully through onboarding and adoption.
  • Your accounts remain engaged and actively using the platform following conversion.
  • You are building a predictable pipeline capable of generating recurring subscription revenue.

Long-Term

  • You build a growing portfolio of retained paying customers.
  • You generate recurring commission income from retained accounts.
  • You become a trusted advisor to restaurant operators within your territory.
  • You consistently contribute to customer retention and long-term revenue growth.


8.     Working Schedule

This role operates 6 days per week with one rest day. Restaurant owners run 7-day businesses. The best access to decision-makers is often on weekends. A 5-day schedule is not compatible with this territory.
