Fabcom Structural Limited, a leading roofing manufacturing company in Nigeria, is seeking a skilled and experienced Language Assistant to support our growing operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely translation of documents, correspondence, and other materials between English and Chinese.
- Interpret during meetings, conferences, and other business interactions.
- Assist in market research and competitor analysis by translating relevant materials.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all translation and interpretation tasks.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of translation glossaries and terminology databases.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Chinese-English translation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in using translation software and tools.
- Strong cultural understanding of both Chinese and Nigerian business environments.
- Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Knowledge of roofing materials and industry terminology.
