Role Description The Registered Nurse at The Pundit Place will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions in accordance with established standards and protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and documenting care accurately in health records. The nurse will educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care, while promoting safety and adherence to clinical guidelines. This is a contract role based in Global Village with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home tasks such as telehealth support, care coordination, and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Clinical skills in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs and symptoms.
  • Experience in coordinating care with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong documentation and electronic health record (EHR) skills, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills to support diverse individuals and families.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing clinical needs.
  • Comfort with hybrid work, including telehealth practices, remote collaboration tools, and secure data handling.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, specialty nursing credentials) are preferred.
  • Previous experience in acute care, community health, or a related clinical setting is beneficial.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
