Job Title: Furniture Design Architect

Location: Lagos

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range

Probation Period (First 3 Months): ₦275,000 monthly
After Confirmation: ₦300,000 monthly

Key Responsibilities

Design Development: Create detailed designs and technical drawings for wood joinery products, including furniture, cabinetry, and custom pieces.
Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and finishes based on design requirements and client specifications.
Prototyping: Collaborate with the production team to develop prototypes, ensuring designs are feasible for manufacturing processes.
Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD software and other design tools, specifically V-ray, Blinder, and Revit, to create and modify designs efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in furniture or product design, preferably within a wood joinery environment.
Proficiency in V-ray, Blinder, and Revit software, along with other CAD and graphic design tools.
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery methods.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

The candidates should have a strong preference for furniture designers who have worked within wood domain and possess prior experience with reputable and well-known companies.
