Job Description

Reports To: Chief Commercial Officer

Industry: Energy – Gas (LNG/CNG), Midstream

Position Overview

Drive commercial growth by sourcing new clients, identifying offtakers, and securing partnerships across the oil & gas value chain, with a strong focus on LNG and gas commercialisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Market Development:
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the LNG, CNG, and gas processing sectors. Build a robust pipeline of prospective clients, offtakers, and strategic partners. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • 2. Client Management:
    • Manage existing client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. Negotiate and close commercial agreements, offtake contracts, and partnership deals. Coordinate with technical and project teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • 3. Revenue Generation:
    • Meet and exceed revenue targets through proactive commercial activities. Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and business cases to potential clients. Monitor and report on commercial performance and pipeline status.
Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in business development within the oil, gas, or energy sector.
  • Strong network within the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
