Wekoya is growing quickly and continues to roll out new features to enhance how students learn and collaborate.


Salary

₦250,000 to ₦350,000 monthly.


Role Description

The Growth Marketer will be responsible for driving user acquisition, activation, and retention across Wekoya’s digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include designing and executing growth experiments, optimizing funnels, managing performance campaigns, and analyzing data to uncover opportunities for product and marketing improvements. This full-time hybrid role is based in Lagos State, Nigeria, with flexibility for partial work from home. The person in this role will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to develop and refine growth strategies, improve onboarding flows, and scale successful campaigns. They will also contribute to positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives for new features and product launches.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Growth Marketing and Growth Hacking to design experiments and scale successful acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Relevant experience in startup or tech environments and a demonstrated interest in edtech, gaming, or student-focused products is a plus.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Marketing Analytics and Web Analytics to interpret data, track performance metrics, and optimize funnels and campaigns.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation to build and execute campaigns that attract, qualify, and convert new users.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools, CRM or marketing automation platforms, and paid media channels (e.g., search, social) is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical mindset, ability to work with quantitative data, and familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
