Cone Group, a leading provider of electronic security, solar energy, ICT, and engineering solutions, is hiring a Finance Officer to manage our books, statutory compliance, taxation, and audit processes.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong command of Nigerian tax law and hands-on experience keeping a company fully compliant and audit-ready.
What You'll Do
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and reconcile daily transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, invoicing, and payment schedules
- Process payroll and statutory deductions
- Prepare and file VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT, NSITF, ITF, Pension, NHF, and other statutory returns
- Liaise with NRS, LIRS, CAC, auditors, and banks on compliance and regulatory matters
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring records are accurate and audit-ready
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Deliver timely financial insights and recommendations to management
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' relevant finance/accounting experience
- ICAN, ACCA, ACA, ATS, or equivalent certification an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, statutory compliance, and audit procedures
- Proven track record filing statutory returns with NRS, LIRS, and other regulatory agencies
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, or similar)
- High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
