We are looking for a young, vibrant, and experienced Accountant to join its finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is confident, proactive, and ready to take ownership of key financial operations in a well-established organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records and financial books.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
Record financial transactions using double-entry accounting principles.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with suppliers and support external audits.
Perform other accounting duties as required.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
ICAN/ACCA qualification or progress towards qualification is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting.
Proven experience preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations.
Good understanding of VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), PAYE, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
