Role Description The Sales Marketing Manager is a hybrid role, but must be based in Ibadan. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for Sellismart. Day-to-day tasks include planning and managing marketing campaigns, overseeing digital and offline promotional activities, generating and qualifying leads, and supporting the sales team with effective sales materials and messaging. The Sales Marketing Manager will analyze market trends and campaign performance, optimize sales funnels, collaborate with product and customer success teams, and represent Sellismart at events and customer meetings. This role also involves setting performance targets, reporting on key metrics, and continuously refining strategies to support business expansion.

Qualifications

Strong skills in sales planning, pipeline management, and account relationship building.
  • Experience in marketing strategy, campaign management, and brand positioning.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media marketing, and basic analytics tools.
  • Ability to work with CRM systems and understand inventory or business management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven experience in a sales or marketing leadership role, preferably in SaaS or technology-driven businesses.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines on-site.
  • Analytical mindset, data-driven decision-making, and comfort working with performance metrics.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
