Location: Lagos, Nigeria
About our client
Our client is an Agricultural, Food, and Nutrition Consulting company. They have worked closely with the food and Agro-Allied industries, particularly SMEs, and also supported various projects of International Development Organizations in Africa. They have a focal interest in multisectoral advocacy across the food system, nutrition, and the environment, collaborating with government agencies, IDOs, and media organizations.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented candidates for the new Project. The successful candidates will lead efforts to provide strategic support for the visibility and impact of a Pan-Nigeria Project and contribute to achieving set goals. The team will conduct field/desk research, compile data, and prepare reports, presentations, and proposals.
The successful candidates will be part of a digital and professional team ensuring efficient delivery of project objectives.
· Identify new business opportunities
· Develop winning proposals
· Build strategic partnerships
· Engage clients and development partners
· Support resource mobilization to expand the organization's consulting and project portfolio. Must have strong IT and Logistics Skills.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or equivalent) in Food Science and Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Biochemistry, Agriculture, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant disciplines.
- Minimum of 7 years experience within Agricultural/Food, & Nutrition company
- A postgraduate qualification (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) and relevant consulting, project management, or research experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of data analysis software, graphic design applications (e.g., CorelDRAW, Canva, Adobe Suite), or digital communication tools will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel when required.
