Role Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective financial monitoring systems, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and guaranteeing compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. The role plays a key part in supporting management decision-making and maintaining the integrity of the company's financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish systems for effective monitoring of the company's financial position
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts and present key financial insights to management
- Maintain accurate records of costs associated with all company transactions
- Work closely with external auditors in the preparation of audited annual accounts
- Ensure compliance with statutory organizations and regulators through timely filing of returns such as VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other relevant filings
- Maintain professional relationships with regulatory bodies including NRS, PENCOM, ITF, NSITF, etc.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Ensure internal controls and accounting policies are adhered to
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or CPA certification is necessary.
- Minimum 4-6 years relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Age: Not more than 35 years old
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and analytical skills

- Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Probation Period: 6 months
- Contract Type: Permanent
