We're looking for a proactive and organized Community Manager who is passionate about helping others access career opportunities and building an active online community.


About the Role

As a Community Manager Intern, you'll help grow and engage the CareerWeekdays community by sourcing valuable career opportunities, managing our WhatsApp community and channel, encouraging meaningful conversations, and ensuring members receive relevant resources.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in community management, operations, content curation, and career ecosystem building.


Key Responsibilities
  • Research and curate internships, graduate programs, scholarships, fellowships, jobs, competitions, and other career opportunities.
  • Share verified opportunities with the CareerWeekdays community in a timely manner.
  • Manage and moderate the CareerWeekdays WhatsApp community.
  • Help build and grow the CareerWeekdays WhatsApp Channel.
  • Welcome new members and ensure they have a positive onboarding experience.
  • Encourage discussions and increase community engagement.
  • Respond to member questions or direct them to the appropriate resources.
  • Maintain community guidelines and foster a respectful, inclusive environment.
  • Support virtual events, webinars, and community initiatives when needed.
  • Suggest creative ideas to improve community participation and member experience.
  • Track engagement metrics and share insights or recommendations for community growth.


What We're Looking For
  • 0–1 year of experience in community management, student leadership, volunteering, or a related area.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable using WhatsApp and other online collaboration tools.
  • Ability to research and verify information from multiple sources.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Passion for helping students and young professionals succeed.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Google Workspace, Notion, or similar productivity tools is a plus.

Compensation
