Job Summary
Our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing company, is seeking to hire an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's IT strategy, ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of enterprise systems, and driving technology innovation to support operational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, applications, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Oversee the administration, optimization, and continuous enhancement of ERP systems and other business-critical applications.
- Establish and enforce IT governance, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Drive technology initiatives that improve manufacturing operations, supply chain management, inventory control, sales, finance, and other business functions.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of the organization's IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services, and end-user systems.
- Develop and implement business continuity, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity frameworks to minimize operational risks.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend technology investments that enhance productivity, automation, and business performance.
- Lead IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consultants while ensuring compliance with agreed service levels.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget, optimize technology investments, and drive cost efficiencies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, MCSE, RHCE/RHCA, CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 12 years' experience in Information Technology, with at least 4 years in a senior management or leadership role.
- Strong experience within the FMCG or manufacturing sector is mandatory.
- Proven experience managing enterprise IT operations, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar), cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, supply chain technologies, business intelligence, and IT governance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
