Procurement Officer

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team and support the efficient procurement of equipment and materials for our projects.

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, supplier onboarding, and contract negotiations.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure value for money, transparency, and compliance.
• Coordinate import and shipping processes, liaising with regulatory agencies such as NAFDAC, SON, and Nigeria Customs Service, as well as freight and logistics providers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
• Identify and onboard alternative suppliers to minimize supply risks and support business continuity.
• Prepare and analyze landed cost estimates to support procurement planning and budgeting.
• Monitor procurement budgets, cost-saving initiatives, and procurement performance.
• Collaborate with project and internal teams to deliver procurement solutions that meet operational and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable procurement and supply chain regulations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, including hands-on experience managing importation and shipping processes.
• Strong knowledge of supplier sourcing, procurement planning, contract negotiation, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Experience preparing and analyzing landed cost estimates.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
• Experience within the building services, MEP, engineering, or construction industry will be an added advantage.
