About the job

JO Properties is hiring a full-time, remote Brand Content Producer to own our brand's video and visual content production. This is a YouTube-first role: we need someone who can edit strong long-form YouTube videos, repurpose content into short-form clips, design thumbnails/covers, and produce daily social media assets.

This is not a basic content-posting role. We're not looking for someone whose main skill is uploading posts or arranging Canva templates - we need someone who can turn raw video, voice notes, briefs, and content calendars into publish-ready creative assets.

What You Will Do

• Edit long-form YouTube videos, mentorship content, interviews, webinars, and case study pieces
• Create short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
• Design YouTube thumbnails/covers, social graphics, carousels, ad creatives, and brand assets
• Improve videos through hooks, pacing, B-roll, captions, lower-thirds, sound design, and retention-aware editing
• Work from raw footage, briefs, voice notes, and weekly content calendars
• Organize project files, exports, and revisions properly

Requirements

• Strong long-form YouTube editing ability, with real proof of past work
• Strong short-form editing ability
• Experience with Premiere Pro and/or CapCut
• Canva Pro knowledge
• Photoshop and/or Illustrator for static design
• Ability to clean audio, color-correct footage, export platform-ready files, and use copyright-safe music/SFX
• Reliable laptop and stable internet
• Full-time availability

Preferred (not required)

• After Effects or basic motion graphics
• YouTube analytics awareness (retention, CTR, watch time)
• Experience editing educational, property, finance, coaching, or documentary-style content
