Highly Reputable Oil & Gas Company currently seeking a Regional Area Manager (Nigeria)

responsible for developing and executing plans to meet the set targets in volume and margin for marketing petroleum products and customer expansion in all the operating regions while ensuring profitability. The focus customer target for this job is commercial customers. The Ideal Candidate should have Sound Knowledge of the Downstream Oil and Gas industry, products and services or come from a solid FMCG background.

Requirements

Develop integrated marketing strategies, product pricing and sales plans for the development of commercial products
Selling petroleum products through multiple channels
Responsible for expanding retail building, franchise, branding
Reaching the targets and goals set for the region
Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole
Recruiting and training sales staff
Allocating areas to sales representatives
Developing sales strategies and setting targets
Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
Compiling and analysing sales figures
Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself
Collecting customer feedback and market research
Reporting to senior managers
Keeping up to date with products and competitors

Qualification

A first degree (minimum of a second class lower) in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant discipline.
MBA, Masters degree or professional qualification in a relevant field would be an added advantage

Experience

Minimum of 10 years sales management experience
Strong sales track record
Experience in the oil and gas industry
