This role bridges technology and media — ensuring that Glow FM’s broadcast infrastructure runs smoothly while also driving audience engagement through modern digital tools and online platforms.
TV & Video
- Manage and maintain the station’s IT infrastructure, including computers, networking, and internet connectivity.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of radio broadcasting and audio streaming systems.
- Manage the station’s website and ensure content is updated regularly.
- Handle social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube.
- Coordinate digital publishing of podcasts and recorded programs.
- Provide technical support to On-Air Personalities (OAPs), producers, and studio staff.
- Monitor live streaming platforms to ensure uninterrupted online broadcast.
- Design and implement digital strategies to grow the station’s online audience.
- Manage digital assets such as audio archives, graphics, and promotional media.
- Ensure cybersecurity, data backups, and system reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Media Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking, hardware maintenance, and system administration.
- Experience managing websites.
- Knowledge of social media management tools and digital marketing strategies.
- Basic understanding of audio production, broadcasting systems, or podcast publishing is an advantage.
- Proficiency in graphics tools such as Photoshop or Canva is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly in a live broadcast environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong interest in media, broadcasting, and digital innovation.
