Our client a highly reputable consulting firm committed to the highest level of professional standards seeks to recruit a result-oriented individual with a distinguished career to fill the vacant The Junior Risk Consultant supports the delivery of enterprise risk management, internal control, governance, compliance, and business continuity consulting engagements. The role involves assisting with risk assessments, internal control reviews, regulatory compliance evaluations, data analysis, report preparation, and the development of practical risk management solutions that help clients achieve their strategic and operational objectives
Job Responsibilities
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
- Support the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks for clients.
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing strategic, operational, financial, compliance, and reputational risks.
- Develop and maintain risk registers and risk profiles.
- Facilitate risk identification workshops and interviews under supervision.
- Monitor emerging risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Conduct risk assessments using qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
- Analyze business processes to identify control gaps and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in preparing risk heat maps, dashboards, and analytical reports.
- Perform root cause analyses of key risk events.
- Support the planning and execution of consulting engagements.
- Collect, validate, and analyze project data.
- Prepare project work papers, reports, and documentation.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned project tasks
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, Insurance, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- NYSC completed.
- A postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- A minimum of five (7) years of relevant work experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience at a senior leadership level.
- Must have implemented a minimum of four (4) Risk Management consulting projects from start to end.
