Key Responsibilities:

Health Safety & Environmental:

  • Always consider the safety of personnel and equipment while running daily operations.
  • Report any Safety risks, near misses or incidents in the proper platforms and on the right time as per internal rules.

Performance/Operational:

  • Signing off vessel plans
  • Planning House Keeping when needed to optimize the next plan
  • Synchronizing the recaps of all vessels alongside & the planned ones (monitor & plan)
  • Evaluating & improving the next 2 hours plan of working vessels, yard and gate OPS in coordination with vessel & yard planner
  • Arranging to executing loading & discharge points as per the requirements
  • Maximizing CHE utilization and productivity.
  • Preparing next 2 hours RTG, EH & RS travelling plan
  • Analyzing and reporting deviations
  • Maintaining a safe and clear communication with the different stakeholders within the control room.
  • Ensuring continuous non interrupted operations.
  • Preparing and sharing a detailed Handover

Success Factors:

  • Display good problem-solving skills and proactive approach towards operations to avoid problems before they occur and work towards solving them.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the processes and work instructions related to the Control Room, Quay and yard execution and capable of ensuring good adherence and suggesting improvements

Who we are looking for :

  • Proven experience in vessel planning, yard planning and housekeeping
  • Can work under pressure and in a quickly changing environment
  • Able to work independently and without close supervision
  • Able to handle the assigned tasks according to priorities
  • Able to sustain high energy and level of activities over long working hours
  • Capable of working at any of the control room positions and has a good understanding of the processes and WIs related to them
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the relevant tools to perform the assigned duties including, but not limited to, Navis Suite, Office suite
  • Show good command of the working languages as spoken and in writing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Appropriate academic qualification to support the designated role
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with onsite teams and provide clear guidance.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify patterns.
  • Familiarity with lean principles.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations as needed.
  • Structured, driven, self-motivating, result orientated, and capable of participating collaboratively within a team to achieve success.
  • High-quality awareness and ability to work with constant care
