Role Description As a full-time remote Data Analytics Tutor at SkillForward Academy, you will guide learners through core and advanced analytics concepts, tools, and workflows. You will lead live online sessions, support learners in understanding topics such as data cleaning, visualization, descriptive statistics, and basic predictive analytics, and provide feedback on assignments and projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, explaining complex ideas in clear language, hosting Q&A and office hours, and monitoring learner progress to identify areas where extra support is needed. You will collaborate with other tutors and curriculum designers to refine course content, share best practices, and ensure that learning objectives are met. Additionally, you will contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment by encouraging engagement, fostering confidence, and promoting practical, industry-relevant skills.
Qualifications

Strong foundational knowledge in data analytics concepts, including data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and basic statistics.
Proficiency with common analytics tools such as spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets), SQL for querying data, and at least one analytics-oriented language or platform (e.g., Python, R, or BI tools like Tableau or Power BI).
Demonstrated ability to explain technical topics clearly to beginners and intermediate learners, with experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or training preferred.
Skill in designing or adapting learning materials, exercises, and projects that reinforce practical, real-world data analytics skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide constructive, actionable feedback and maintain professional, supportive interactions with learners.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a full teaching schedule, track learner progress, and meet deadlines in a remote, digital environment.
Comfort working independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with colleagues using online tools and platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline), or equivalent professional experience in data analytics.
Experience applying data analytics in professional or project-based contexts (e.g., business analytics, marketing analytics
