Job Summary

Ensure effective tracking and monitoring of all DSR Transport trucks, prepare spot, regular, daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Report incidents involving DSR Transport trucks and submit all relevant reports to the Management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all company vehicles are properly tracked, monitored, and managed.
  • Monitor truck movements, locations, route compliance, and route efficiency to improve operations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to improve driver safety and reduce vehicle wear and tear.
  • Report and escalate cases involving defaulting drivers, vehicle incidents, illegal haulage, EAT violations, TAT violations, poor driving behaviour, and other operational concerns.
  • Liaise with drivers and Fleet Managers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct periodic vehicle inspections and recommend corrective actions where required.
  • Prepare, review, and summarize daily, weekly, monthly, and other periodic reports on vehicle location, speed, violations, usage, and key operational issues.
  • Oversee fleet presentation, accident reporting, willful damage cases, vehicle maintenance, and servicing processes.
  • Provide support to other teams and functions as required by the business.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Transport Management, or a related discipline.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and related professional bodies.
  • 4 Years of experience preferably in a similar or related role.

Technical Competencies

  • Fleet monitoring and tracking of all DSR fleet trucks.
  • Maintenance Scheduling.
  • In-depth knowledge of authentic vehicle parts and accessories.
  • In-depth knowledge of current/ prevailing traffic laws and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of software applications (e.g., vehicle tracking and scheduling application).
