The Website & Digital Platforms Officer will coordinate content uploads, platform optimisation, digital asset management, user-experience improvements, analytics and technical issue resolution with internal IT teams, business units and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer approved websites, microsites and related digital platforms, including page creation, content uploads, updates, archiving and routine quality checks.
    • Publish approved copy, images, videos, documents and campaign assets accurately and on schedule, working closely with content and creative teams.
    • Check links, forms, page layouts, metadata, downloads, mobile responsiveness and browser compatibility; correct or escalate defects promptly.
    • Support improvements to site structure, search visibility, performance, accessibility and user experience based on analytics, user feedback and approved priorities.
    • Log, track and coordinate the resolution of hosting, domain, certificate, integration, security, performance and functionality issues with IT and external providers.
    • Maintain organised and current repositories of web assets, approved documents, templates and media files, with appropriate naming, version control and permissions.
    • Track website traffic, content performance, user journeys, search behaviour and technical health; prepare periodic reports and recommendations.
    • Maintain user access records, publishing permissions, approval evidence and change logs in line with digital governance and security requirements.
    • Support website redesigns, microsites, platform enhancements and integrations by coordinating requirements, testing, content migration and acceptance checks.
    • Maintain current records of key platform information and support backup, recovery and continuity arrangements in coordination with IT and service providers.
Key Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Digital Media, Information Systems, Mass Communication or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in website administration, content management, digital platform operations or web project coordination.
    • Hands-on experience with enterprise content management systems and web analytics tools.
Functional Competencies

  • Website and content management system administration.
    • Web content publishing, metadata management and digital asset organisation.
    • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, SEO principles, accessibility and responsive design.
    • Web analytics, performance monitoring and insight reporting.
    • User acceptance testing, defect logging and technical issue coordination.
    • Understanding of domains, hosting, certificates, access controls and basic web security concepts.
    • Vendor coordination, requirements documentation and project support.
    • Strong quality assurance, version control and record-keeping skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaborative workflow tools.
