Post Objective

The Admissions Manager is responsible for leading a results-driven admissions team focused on telesales and digital communication to increase student enrollment across multiple university partners. The role requires strategic leadership and hands-on engagement in managing lead pipelines, team performance, and student communication channels such as phone, WhatsApp, and ManyChat. The manager also oversees the collection of enrollment fees, ensuring accurate tracking and coordination with internal finance and operations teams. This position plays a critical role in aligning enrollment efforts with institutional standards, policies, and service expectations.


1.0 Key Responsibilities

1.1 Telesales & Enrollment Strategy

  • Lead high-conversion telesales initiatives targeting prospective students
  • Design and execute strategies to achieve and exceed enrollment goals across institutions


1.2 Team Leadership & Oversight

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate Admissions Counselors to drive daily performance
  • Monitor KPIs including call volume, conversion rates, follow-ups, and closing timelines
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement


1.3 Lead Pipeline & Follow-Up Management

  • Oversee lead handling across CRM, WhatsApp, and ManyChat platforms
  • Ensure timely contact, proper documentation, and efficient lead progression through the admissions funnel


1.4 Digital Communication Oversight

  • Manage ManyChat and WhatsApp workflows, both automated and manual
  • Ensure student inquiries are addressed promptly and consistently with admissions guidelines


1.5 Fee & Deposit Collection Oversight

  • Communicate fee requirements and payment deadlines to prospective students
  • Coordinate collection of application fees and enrollment deposits
  • Liaise with finance and operations to track payment status and resolve outstanding issues


1.6 Sales Reporting & Insights

  • Track and report on admissions performance metrics and trends
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve conversion and engagement rates


1.7 Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work with marketing, CRM, and support teams to align on lead quality, campaign targeting, and admissions workflows


1.8 Policy & Process Compliance

  • Ensure all admissions activities adhere to internal policies, institutional guidelines, and data protection regulations



2.0 Qualifications & Skills 

2.1 Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of telesales experience, with a proven record of hitting or exceeding targets
  • At least 2 years of experience managing or supervising a sales or admissions team
  • Prior experience in higher education or student recruitment is a plus


2.2 Sales & Communication Skills

  • Strong persuasive communication skills, especially over the phone and via messaging platforms
  • Skilled in objection handling, closing techniques, and consultative selling


2.3 Technical & Reporting Skills

  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data and performance dashboards
  • Experience customizing workflows and reporting tools within CRM systems


2.4 Financial Oversight Skills

  • Familiarity with application fees, enrollment deposit processes, and basic financial tracking
  • Experience working with finance or operations teams to ensure accurate payment records
