The Field Specialist – Coiled Tubing is responsible for leading and executing coiled tubing operations at customer well sites. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery by operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining coiled tubing equipment, supervising field crews, and coordinating with customers and operations teams to achieve successful well intervention and production enhancement objectives.

As a Field Specialist – Coiled Tubing , you will be responsible for:


  • Operating and monitoring coiled tubing units, injector heads, reels, and control systems.
  • Leading rig-up, pressure testing, job execution, and rig-down activities.
  • Monitoring real-time job parameters such as tubing depth, weight, pump rates, and well pressure.
  • Performing pre-job inspections, function testing, and basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensure compliance with Baker Hughes and customer HSE requirements.
  • Recording operational data and prepare accurate job reports for customers.
  • Coordinating with the customer, rig crew, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Mentoring operators and junior personnel while maintaining high operational standards.


To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have a minimum of Two year Technical Degree
  • Have at least 5 years of hands-on onshore or offshore oilfield service experience in pressure pumping and Coiled Tubing operations
  • Experience in oilfield services and nitrogen pumping
  • Have strong knowledge of Coiled tubing equipment, Pressure control equipment (BOPs, stripper, lubricator), Nitrogen pumping, Well intervention operations
  • Have excellent knowledge of HSE procedures and risk management
  • Have an excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Be a good team player and display good communication skills
