We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee the organization’s procurement activities, supplier relationships, purchasing processes, and cost-management strategies. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality goods and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and compliance with company policies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and value for money.
  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
  • Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, products, and services.
  • Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and identify alternative suppliers where necessary.
  • Conduct market research to monitor prices, trends, and availability of goods and services.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with approved policies, budgets, and procedures.
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and other departments to understand procurement needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support effective stock management.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality, pricing, delays, and discrepancies.
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, supplier evaluations, and other management reports.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and documentation.
  • Ensure ethical, transparent, and professional procurement practices across the organization.




Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the food or hospitality industry.
• Minimum of OND or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, or related field. • Professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, contract negotiation, and inventory management.
