Job Purpose
Cordros Asset Management Limited is seeking an Investment Management Associate responsible for supporting the Investment Management team in the execution of investment strategies, portfolio monitoring, research, investment operations, and client reporting.
The role involves assisting with portfolio construction and rebalancing, monitoring financial markets, conducting investment research, preparing investment reports, and ensuring efficient execution of investment decisions across
multi-asset portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Support Portfolio Managers in implementing investment strategies across equity, fixed income, money market, and alternative investment portfolios. Assist in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and portfolio rebalancing activities. Monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks and investment objectives. Prepare portfolio performance reports, attribution analysis, and investment summaries for internal and external stakeholders. Monitor domestic and global financial markets, macroeconomic developments, monetary policy, and regulatory changes affecting investment portfolios. Conduct research on equities, fixed income securities, mutual funds, alternative investments, and other investment opportunities. Analyse company financial statements, industry trends, economic data, and market developments to support investment decisions. Support security selection by preparing investment notes, financial models, and valuation analyses. Monitor portfolio exposures, liquidity positions, concentration limits, and compliance with investment mandates. Assist in executing investment transactions and coordinate with brokers, custodians, and counterparties to ensure timely settlement. Monitor cash positions and support liquidity management activities across investment portfolios. Maintain investment databases, portfolio records, valuation models, and market information systems. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly investment reports, market updates, and portfolio commentaries. Support the preparation of Investment Committee papers, presentations, and meeting materials. Track implementation of Investment Committee decisions and maintain investment action logs. Assist in developing investment proposals, product presentations, and client communication materials. Support new product development through market research, competitor analysis, and investment feasibility assessments. Collaborate with Risk, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Client Relationship teams to ensure efficient portfolio administration. Ensure investment activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and client investment guidelines. Identify opportunities to improve investment processes, reporting automation, and operational efficiency. Stay abreast of developments across financial markets, investment products, and emerging industry trends.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline. Master's degree is an added advantage. Relevant professional certification in investment or financial services (e.g., CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIS) is an added advantage.
- 4-7years' experience in investment research, equity research, fixed income research, economic research or investment analysis. Experience within an asset management firm, investment bank, pension fund, research house or commercial bank treasury is preferred.

The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:
