Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Liquidity Manager responsible for developing a high-performing team that supports the firm's funding, cash management and liquidity optimisation objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the Liquidity Management team. Set annual objectives, KPIs and development plans for direct reports.
- Review and approve funding recommendations prepared by team members.
- Allocate responsibilities across liquidity forecasting, market monitoring and funding execution.
- Ensure timely delivery of all daily, weekly and monthly treasury reports. Foster a culture of strong risk management, accountability and continuous improvement. Identify capability gaps within the team and recommend training and development initiatives.
- Build succession plans for critical treasury and liquidity functions.
- Supervise the daily activities of the Liquidity Management team.
- Review liquidity forecasts before submission to the CIO.
- Approve funding allocations within delegated authority.
- Escalate material liquidity risks to the CIO. Coordinate with Portfolio Managers to prioritise funding requirements. Ensure operational excellence in funding execution and settlement.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certification in investment or financial services (e.g., CFA, ACA, ACCA, CISI, ACI Financial markets, FRM certifications) is an added advantage.
- 6–10 years' experience in treasury management, liquidity management, cash management, asset-liability management (ALM), financial markets, or treasury operations.
- Experience within an asset management firm, commercial bank treasury, investment bank, pension fund administrator, insurance company, or other financial institution with responsibility for liquidity planning, cash flow management, funding strategies, and short-term investment management is preferred.

The incumbent must have proficiency knowledge in the following areas:
- Liquidity management and cash flow forecasting.

- Asset and Liability Management (ALM). Money market and fixed income instruments. F
