Role Description
The Junior Business Development Associate is a full-time hybrid role based in Lagos, with some flexibility for working from home. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business leads, supporting outreach to healthcare providers and partners, and assisting in developing strategies to grow MedSecOp’s user base and partnerships. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing presentations and pitch materials, maintaining prospect databases, and supporting follow-ups to move opportunities through the sales pipeline. The associate will collaborate closely with senior business development team members, gather feedback from clients and stakeholders, and contribute to refining messaging and value propositions. The role also includes coordinating meetings, tracking performance metrics, and helping ensure that business development activities align with MedSecOp’s mission and growth goals.
Qualifications
- Strong presentation abilities, including creating and delivering effective presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in lead generation, including prospecting, outreach, and initial qualification of potential partners or clients.
- Proficiency in market research, with the ability to analyze healthcare and digital health trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally.
- Basic understanding of sales or business development processes, preferably within technology, healthcare, or related sectors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Comfort using productivity and CRM tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, customer databases) to support business development activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in digital health, patient advocacy, or healthcare innovation; prior experience or internships in these areas are an advantage.
Recent graduate, less than 4 years post-graduation
Compensation
Competitive salary of ₦150,000–₦200,000, depending on experience.
