Indigenius is expanding its work across more than a dozen Nigerian languages. The Analyst, Collective Intelligence owns the human network of language experts and native-speaker contributors that makes this possible. This is an operations-heavy, people-heavy role focused on sourcing linguists, recruiting contributors, coordinating pipelines, and managing community operations.
- Source language experts, linguists, teachers, translators, broadcasters, for validation and quality work.
- Plan and run recruitment campaigns for native-speaker contributors.
- Match contributions to expert validators and track validation throughput.
- Onboard contributors, manage community channels, and coordinate payments.
- Ensure coverage across dialects, regions, age groups, and genders.
- Maintain weekly trackers and report progress to the programme lead.
- 3+ years in operations, community management, field research, linguistics, crowdsourcing, or similar.
- Based in Nigeria; able to work from Lagos and travel occasionally.
- Fluent English plus at least one major Nigerian language.
- Strong with spreadsheets and trackers.
- Excellent communicator across diverse audiences.
- Organized, persistent, discreet.
- A network in linguistics departments, translation circles, NYSC networks, or media/voice-over communities.
- Human resources
- Data collection or annotation project experience.
- 3-month contract, renewable.
- Hybrid, based in Lagos, with occasional travel within Nigeria.
- Competitive monthly rate commensurate with experience.
