Role Description The Instructor will design and deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions in digital and technology-related subjects for learners of varying ages and skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, teaching in classroom and lab settings, guiding learners through practical projects, and providing constructive feedback on assignments. The Instructor will collaborate with the QCWIX team to refine curricula, align content with industry standards, and support special programs, workshops, and events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, requiring consistent presence for classes, team meetings, and learner support.
Qualifications
  • Ability to design and deliver structured, practical lessons in areas such as coding, web development, digital design, or product thinking.
  • Strong instructional, facilitation, and classroom management skills, with experience teaching diverse age groups or skill levels.
  • Capacity to develop learning materials, exercises, and projects that connect theory with real-world application.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in simple, accessible language.
  • Comfort with using digital tools, learning platforms, and basic productivity software to support teaching and learner tracking.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a learner-centered approach, with a commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory education.
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience in technology or related fields; experience with children’s and adult programs is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Education, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Lagos, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and adapt to evolving curricula and industry trends.
