The Role:

At AMS, we’re building teams that are curious, collaborative, and committed to doing great work. We’re looking for a Recruiter (English Speaker) who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and values strong stakeholder relationships.

Role location: Lagos, Nigeria (Client site hybrid)


Key Accountabilities:

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across multiple roles in the Sub-Saharan market, ensuring all SLAs/KPIs and quality standards are met
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition teams to understand hiring needs and provide expert guidance
  • Lead vacancy intake discussions, defining role requirements, sourcing strategies, timelines, and selection processes
  • Collaborate with Sourcing and Administration teams to deliver a seamless client and candidate experience
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring candidates are screened, engaged, and aligned before submission
  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle, from initial engagement through offer and onboarding
  • Support hiring decisions, including offer negotiation and closing candidates
  • Monitor and optimize recruitment funnel performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks
  • Ensure accurate data management across ATS/CRM systems and maintain compliance standards
  • Build strong, trusted relationships and contribute to continuous improvement within recruitment delivery


Skills & Requirements:

Must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally in a high-volume or RPO environment
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience recruiting across multiple African countries
  • Experience working with ATS/CRM systems and recruitment technologies
  • Strong focus on quality, accuracy, and candidate experience
  • Ability to advise and influence hiring managers with market insights and best practices


Nice to have:

  • Experience working within a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) model
  • Exposure to data reporting, funnel metrics, and recruitment analytics
  • Experience supporting diverse hiring strategies and talent pooling initiatives
  • Oil & gas recruitment experience
