Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
Manage contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure efficient procurement processes.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock levels.
Collaborate with various departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements.
Process purchase orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Resolve purchasing issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to make informed decisions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Procurement Purchasing Specialist or similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and purchasing software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles.
Experience in with Pronto software would be advantageous.
