Role Description: This role is the first point of contact for all marketing-generated leads at the organisation. Responsible for rapid lead engagement, initial screening, and gathering prospect insights, this role ensures only qualified, sales-ready opportunities are handed over to the Sales team. The successful candidate will assist in shortening lead response times, eliminating non-viable prospects, providing real-time market intelligence, optimising campaign conversion rates, elevating sales pipeline quality, and maximising overall marketing ROI.
The Marketing Lead Qualification Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at the headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos State.
Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Campaign
- Contact all incoming marketing leads within agreed SLAs (e.g., within 15 minutes during business hours) to maximise conversion potential.
- Filter out invalid, duplicate, or non-viable inquiries before processing.
- Evaluate buyers' intent, budget, timeline, and specific property interests against standardised qualification criteria.
- Assign disposition status codes to classify prospects accurately within the funnel.
Lead Routing & CRM Administration
- Hand over fully qualified, sales-ready opportunities directly to Sales for immediate pipeline follow-up.
- Route unqualified or early-stage leads into appropriate automated nurture tracks to keep prospects engaged.
- Maintain complete, standardised, and accurate profile records in the CRM database without duplicate entries.
Campaign Intelligence & Market Insights
- Document common buyer objections, recurring questions, and key purchasing triggers gathered directly during lead interactions.
- Translate prospect feedback into actionable recommendations for ad copy, messaging, and target audience adjustments.
- Provide continuous insight into messaging alignment between marketing promises and sales conversations.
Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Audit team response times to measure and enforce strict compliance with SLA targets.
- Analyse lead conversion rates across individual marketing channels to pinpoint the highest-yielding acquisition sources.
- Recommend continuous refinements to lead qualification criteria based on incoming lead quality metrics and campaign objectives.
- Produce weekly reports on lead volume, channel qualification rates, and drop-off trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing operations, customer service, lead management, inside marketing and digital marketing. Experience with support of digital marketing campaigns is an added advantage
- Hands-on experience operating platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics to manage pipelines and maintain data accuracy.
