ROLE SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Team member is responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment activities across technical, operational, product, sales, and corporate functions within the fintech organization. The role focuses on attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent while building robust talent pipelines, enhancing employer branding, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience aligned with PayZeep growth objectives.
The Talent Acquisition Team member drives end-to-end recruitment for PayZeep, sourcing, assessing and hiring talent across technical and non-technical roles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer management.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and interview scorecards.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines and employer-branding initiatives.
- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, pipeline conversion).
- Ensure a positive, compliant candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate applicant-tracking and candidate data records.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments and competency-based interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company's market presence and attractiveness to prospective candidates.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with organizational policies, labor regulations, and data privacy requirements.
- Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HR databases.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through fair and unbiased hiring practices.
- Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, networking sessions, and employer branding campaigns.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Total Relevant Experience: Senior Specialist: 5–8 years
Fintech / Financial Services Experience: 3+ years recruiting for technology, fintech or financial-services roles preferred

- Strong sourcing and candidate-assessment skills, including technical-role hiring
- Excellent stakeholder management with hiring managers
- Proficiency with ATS and sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong negotiation and offer management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment methodologies and sourcing strategies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS (NIGERIA)
- Handles candidate personal data in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, including lawful basis for storage and retention limits.
- Ensures recruitment practices align with the Nigerian Labour Act and non-discrimination principles.
