Imani Professional Tax Service is expanding our nationwide team for the 2027 Tax Season. We are looking for motivated Tax Preparers who are ready to serve clients, grow their tax knowledge, and build their own client base.
New and experienced tax preparers are welcome to apply. Training and support are available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate federal and state individual income tax returns
- Review client tax documents and information for accuracy
- Communicate professionally with clients throughout the tax preparation process
- Maintain confidentiality of client and taxpayer information
- Follow IRS requirements and company procedures
- Build and maintain positive client relationships
- Market your tax preparation services and develop your client base
- Complete required training and stay current on tax-law updates
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Previous tax preparation experience is a plus but is not required
- Must have or be willing to obtain a valid IRS PTIN before preparing federal tax returns
- Sales, customer service, bookkeeping, or financial-service experience is a plus

This position offers performance/client-production-based earning potential. Compensation varies based on factors including clients served, experience, performance, and the applicable compensation arrangement. Earnings are not guaranteed.
